A brand story, showcasing the design ethos & craftsmanship of our jewellery, handmade in our Devon based studio. Featuring the founder, Georgie Roberts and her studio team we encapsulate the inspiration behind Wanderlust Life Jewellery - a brand inspired by travel and creative living.
Wanderlust Life is an understated and minimalist jewellery brand, handmade in the UK and inspired by the world.
Wanderlust Life is a collection of understated and minimal jewellery inspired by travel & creative living, hand crafted in our Devon studio. Established in 2013, Wanderlust Life is the creation of designer Georgie Roberts, her own wanderlust inspired the label.
Understated with a minimalist edge, Wanderlust Life’s collection of jewellery explores the world for ideas sourcing stones, taking inspiration from all around the globe. The signature look for Wanderlust Life features a spectrum of semi-precious faceted stones, floating on delicate gold chains and fine cord necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. Turquoise, Opal, Emerald, Ruby, Moonstone and other gemstones evoking the rich palette of blues of the Mediterranean Sea, the wild earthy tones of an African landscape or the vibrant natural shades of a Balinese setting.
These aspirational mood boards alongside Georgie's unique eye for detail and style are encapsulated into the brand's delicate and timeless creations.
Wanderlust Life jewellery can be found online at wanderlustlife.co.uk and across the UK & Europe in a number of lifestyle stores & boutiques.
In June 2017 we opened our first working studio & concept store in Ilfracombe, North Devon.
A year later in June 2018, we relocated to our permanent new home, a custom built space in the prime location of Braunton, North Devon. We are a working studio & shop where the Wanderlust Life team hand-craft the jewellery alongside an impressive retail space for customers to shop the entire Wanderlust Life collection.
Please feel free to come & say hello, meet the team & browse our collections - we look forward to seeing you soon!

Probably quitting my day job, and taking a leap of faith to allow Wanderlust Life to grow into a full time business.
Brilliant. We’re all super close (like a little family) and really support one other. Each and every person that works at Wanderlust Life has their own story, skill set and unique personality and I love how the team sits together. I’m really privileged to have such a great team working with me.
I’d be nervous to change anything too much, otherwise I might not be where I am now. I would sit my 20 year old self down and advise her to travel more, believe in herself and her worthiness, do more things she loves and have faith that what’s meant to be will be – if it’s not okay, it’s not the end.
Whiskey. And wine.
I always seem to have a few books on the go! I’m reading ‘Ikigai The Japanese Secret to a Long & Happy Life’ at the moment and I’ve just finished Papillon. it’s one of my all-time favourite books. It’s such a story of adventure & human strength, and reminds me of how resilient we can all be as human beings.
I’m constantly curating playlists – I’m never without music in the studio, at home or in the van. Really depends what mood we’re in, we can swing from an afternoon of 80’s power ballads into some RnB Soul. I’m loving Charlotte Day Wilson and Rosie Lowe at the moment.
Opening the studio at 37 Fore Street was one of the happiest days I’ve had in a long, long time. We put so much energy and love into the brand, and to see it come to life into a physical space was such an achievement. I’d love to relive that day (without the nerves) and enjoy it all again!
It starts with a drive to work, nice chats with girls over coffee and then we plan our week of world domination, with lots of lovely customer emails in between!!
White wine, prosecco and the occasional French 75.
The day I arrived in New York for the first time with Matt and immersing ourselves in the madness of it all.
New York - the culture, architecture, museums, and the whole buzz of the city. I love being a part of it all.
Giorgio Locatelli – I’ve had the pleasure of eating his food and love Italian cuisine.
Leaving my job of 10 years as a photorealist painter to join Wanderlust Life, thankfully a risk that has more than paid off!
Lisa Eldridge makeup artist – I have loved her work for years and follow her every move on social media. She’s an incredible artist and works so hard to achieve her dreams.
We love a good 80’s playlist, sometimes 90’s if we are feeling like we want to re-visit our teenage years. There’s always some Gregory Porter thrown in there!
It’s great. Lots of chat, hugs on tap.
I wanted to hang out with Georgie more!
I always purposefully enjoy every sip of my first cup of tea of the day. Meditative tea drinking!
The Answer by Allan Pease, Barbara Pease. It’s an informative workbook about setting goals and intentions.
If its sunny – a cold, refreshing lager. Any other time, red wine.
The people, friends and family around me are a constant source of inspiration. Living their own lives, dealing with the ups and downs. Always inspiring me to be a better human.
My partner & I moved to New Zealand after I graduated to set up a new life on the other side of the world.
Take my bra off (and then pour a massive glass of red wine!)
Making something that I and other people find beautiful is such a wonderful thing to be able to do everyday.
Always my mum, the most selfless, caring and hard working woman I know.
If Georgie is in charge of the play list then 80’s power ballads! I would probably just choose anything chilled, my relationship with music is emotive, so I like anything that makes me feel, whether that’s happy, sad or content I will like it.
I think I’ve unknowingly adopted a sense of calm and mindfulness by just living life. It makes you realise not to take things too seriously and never to be too hard on yourself and in turn gives you an inner peace and calm that you only get from experience (I sound 90, I’m 27)
I’d hesitate to say anything, because I wouldn’t be where I am now if I had changed anything, but I would probably say - have more self-confidence and know your own self worth!
Aperol Spritz / G&T / Marlborough Sauvignon (in that order)
Megan Markle or the Duchess of Cambridge because I have a secret love and slight obsession for the royal family. Imagine the Queen wearing a fine cord necklace!
My days really vary depending on which business hat I'm wearing - but I usually rise at 06:30, start work at 7, drink at least 10 cups of various teas and spend a good amount of time removing my cat, Roy (girl), from my desk. I tend to do all the work that needs a decent amount of brain power first thing in the morning (hence the 7am starts) so my afternoons can be a little more relaxed and I can fit in going for a surf or a spot of yoga or bootcamp. Exercise is a must - if I go more than a few days without it my whole brain fogs over and nothing gets done!
Oh goodness, that's a tricky one. On a personal level I work with so many incredible women who are all building amazing brands with huge hearts. They all inspire me. Creatively - that changes on an hourly basis!
Starting my own business was a pretty big one. I founded my design studio around the same time that Georgie founded Wanderlust Life. We've been pushing each other on ever since and I'm so happy to still be working with Georgie and the team 5 years on!
I love it - I once worked in a team where I was the only female and this is just so much easier! I don't feel like I'm fighting for my space and opinion all the time! The amount of love, respect and laughter going around at Wanderlust Life HQ is something pretty special.
You don't need to drink that whole bottle of wine to yourself before you even go out.
Gin. Any which way.
Ooooh, that's a tricky one. I can't pick my favourite type of chocolate, let alone my favourite day in 11701 days (yes, I worked that out).
