Rings don’t allow much room for error, so follow these tips for an accurate measurement and optimum fit.
- For best results, measure your finger at the end of the day.
- Heat and humidity can cause your fingers to swell or contract, so aim to take your measurement in a neutral environment.
- Salty foods and alcoholic drinks can cause your finger to swell, so avoid these for accurate measurement.
- If you’re between two sizes, opt for larger since it’s better to have a bit of extra room than not enough.
- Your ring should be secure but offer the ability to slide over the knuckle with some resistance.
- Strings tend to stretch so don’t be tempted to use this method for taking a measurement
