Wanderlust Life x Love Welcomes

Love Welcomes works in multiple locations around the world, both with women in refugee camps and with those who have been resettled. By providing a way for these ladies to earn a living, the enterprise helps entire families to carve a better future for themselves.

Love Welcomes got its start in 2017 in response to the unfolding refugee crisis in Greece. The non-profit CIC collected hi-vis life jackets as they washed up on the shores of refugee camps, then upcycled them into homeware designs that refugee women could make and sell. The bright orange of the life jackets remains the signature colour of the Love Welcomes product line, and provides the starting point for two new limited edition designs available from Wanderlust Life.

In Love Welcomes’ London workshop, an all-woman team of resettled refugees worked together to create a new jewellery storage design especially for our customers. Featuring hand stitching and a drawstring closure, the Wanderlust Life x Love Welcomes jewellery pouch is as functional as it is meaningful.

Meanwhile in our North Devon studio, our own all-woman team hatched an idea to introduce bright orange enamel into our bestselling Queen of Hearts pendant necklace. With its cheerful pop of colour and hand-stamped tag, this new take on an enduring favourite will be available in June in a limited run.

Having previously collaborated with Levis, Margot Selby, JOSEPH and The Edge from U2, Love Welcomes was the unanimous choice as a creative partner for Wanderlust Life.
