An afternoon of gemstones, reflection and quiet renewal.
There’s something quietly powerful about the Spring Equinox.
A moment suspended between light and dark.
A gentle shift in energy.
An invitation to begin again.
Sense Greater Peace
Pilates Studio
On Friday 20th March, five of us from the Wanderlust Life team gathered at SENSE GREATER PEACE in Woolacombe for an intimate equinox-inspired oracle and sound session with Sue and it felt like the most beautiful way to welcome the new season.
With just five spaces available, the atmosphere felt personal from the moment we stepped inside. The studio was calm and quietly inviting, with blankets, pillows and eye masks creating a cocoon-like sense of comfort.
We each took a journal, pen and a piece of gemstone jewellery to use during the session - chosen to resonate with where we are right now.
Because for us, jewellery has never just been decorative. It carries memory. Meaning. Intention.
THE GEMSTONES WE CHOSE
Each of us selected a stone instinctively - drawn to what felt right in this moment.
GEORGIE
TIGER'S EYE
A stone of courage and steady confidence. Associated with clarity, focus and forward momentum - perfect for a season of growth.
BEX
AQUAMARINE
Calm, fluid and soothing. Aquamarine is linked to clear communication and emotional balance.
NAT
GREEN AVENTURINE
Often called the stone of opportunity. Optimistic, fresh and full of spring energy.
MJ
PAUA SHELL
Oceanic and intuitive. With its iridescent blues and greens, paua carries creativity and emotional depth.
MILLIE
MOTHER OF PEARL
Gentle and nurturing. A reminder to trust your inner wisdom and move softly but surely.
Sue prepared a personalised reflection for each gemstone in advance, weaving those qualities into the oracle session. Rather than interpreting the cards for us, she guided us to sit with our own responses - journalling what resonated, what felt aligned, and how we might carry that insight into the months ahead.
It wasn’t about being told the answers.
It was about reconnecting with ourselves.
JEWELLERY AS RITUAL
There was something especially meaningful about wearing our chosen gemstones during the session. As the sound elements unfolded and the room softened into stillness, the jewellery became an anchor, something tangible to hold onto the intention we were setting. We often talk about our pieces as quiet reminders. This felt like that in real time.
A moment to pause.
To reset.
To consciously step into a new season.
A SHARED MINDSET
When Sue opened SENSE GREATER PEACE last September, her vision was a mindful, connected space in Woolacombe - something that instantly resonated with us.
A female-led community.
Intention over excess.
Small, meaningful rituals that shape your day.
This collaboration was rooted in shared values, energy and connection - and we left feeling lighter, clearer and quietly inspired.
