If you ask Bex, the maker behind Riviera, what the perfect summer day looks like, the answer is simple: a sea swim, sunshine on her face, and the kind of long golden evenings where the light sparkles across the water.

That carefree coastal spirit is what inspired our Riviera collection - vibrant gemstones, playful beads and ocean-toned colours designed to bring the feeling of summer to everyday jewellery.

Like most of our collections, it started with colour. We were drawn to the incredible shades you see along the Mediterranean coastline - those vibrant turquoise blues and sea-glass greens where the water meets the shore. Once we found the gemstones that captured those colours perfectly, the collection really began to take shape.

We always balance something new with the pieces people already love. Beaded jewellery has always been a favourite with our community, so we explored ways to bring those ocean-inspired colours into bracelets and necklaces that feel playful, fresh and easy to wear.

The mix of gemstones, beads and cords makes the whole collection feel really effortless - jewellery you can layer up for summer or wear simply every day.

For me, it’s that relaxed feeling of being by the sea. Swimming in the ocean, salty hair drying in the sun, long coastal walks and evenings that seem to last forever. It’s about slowing down and enjoying those simple summer moments.

I think it’s about keeping things playful and joyful. Making jewellery in the sunniest corner of the studio, surrounded by trays of colourful gemstones, chatting with the team while we work - it all feeds into the feeling of the collection. There’s something really satisfying about seeing all those colours come together.

I love them all, obviously! But the Marina Cord Bracelet is definitely one I’ll be wearing all summer. I love how simple and wearable they are. The sea-blue Marina cord feels really fresh and ocean-inspired, while the Sand cord has that soft, sun-warmed neutral tone that goes with everything.

Both are finished with a luminous freshwater pearl, which gives them a really timeless feel. They’re the kind of pieces you can wear every day - stacked together with other bracelets or kept simple on their own. For me they capture the whole Riviera feeling perfectly: effortless, coastal and easy to wear all summer long.
