No more settling for second best; you’re ready to start making your dreams reality. Lapis Lazuli was a favourite of the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and she used to wear finely crushed Lapis Lazuli as eyeshadow to enhance spiritual consciousness. Trust the niggle; if something feels off, it isn’t for you. Hone into the difference between what a “yes” and a “no” feels like to you so that you don’t get caught up second guessing yourself. Confidence comes from trusting your decisions. Take the lessons from any ‘mistakes’ or ‘failures’ and allow them to make you wiser. This can be an empowering time for you. Choose your priorities and make them non-negotiable.
It’s time to surrender and start flowing instead of forcing things to happen. The more that you resist change, the rougher the ride will be. Loosen your grip on the things that you’ve been trying to control and trust that when you aren’t obsessing over the outcome, good things can happen even faster. You might have expected things to work out a certain way but what if a detour turned out even better than you could have imagined? Stay open to new possibilities and you’ll find doors of opportunity that you didn’t realise existed. Try not to spend too much energy on things that aren’t meant for you; burnout isn’t your friend. Choose the path of least resistance. Take a step back, catch your breath and listen to what your intuition has been trying to tell you all along.

That nagging feeling won’t go away; speak up for what you need. When you hold back, the frustration (and resentment) can build and the littlest thing can trigger a showdown when truth be told it isn’t really what’s bothering you. There’s something else going on. You don’t have to wait for things to get on top of you before you ask for help. If you don’t communicate what’s going on for you, how can people hold space for you? You deserve to be supported and you deserve to be heard. Don’t wait for permission to do the things that you know make you feel like a better human. It might seem counterintuitive to take some time out when your to-do list(s) seem never-ending but your best ideas are waiting for you when you give yourself a break.
Think of the times in your life when things didn’t work out the way that you thought they would; you were devastated but once you’d dusted yourself off and put one foot on front of the other you created a new vision for your future. You realised that the rejection was actually protecting you from something that wasn’t really meant for you. You may feel as if you are being stretched and thrown way beyond your comfort zone but you’ve gotta start believing in yourself. No grit, no pearl. You’ve already overcome so much. Keep going. Let go of what no longer serves you so that you can start showing up the way you really want to. Don’t look back or get caught up on the what ifs. Feel it to heal it and then move onwards and upwards.
